Meet the Expert sessions are for students and graduates of the Climate Solutions course. We are working hard to create a community of leaders who are confident to develop climate action plans for their businesses or organisations, and who are determined to tackle the climate emergency. Meet the Expert sessions have been invaluable for consolidating learning and inspiring the ever-growing Climate Solutions Network.
Previous experts include: IPCC Chair Jim Skea; Former Minister for Zero Carbon Buildings, Active Travel and Tenants’ Rights Patrick Harvie MSP; Monica Lennon MSP who is proposing the Ecocide Prevention Bill in Scotland; BBC science broadcaster, Professor Iain Stewart; Nigel Topping UN Climate Change High-Level Champion at COP26 among others from the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, NatureScot, Scottish Environment LINK, the Just Transition Commission, and the Farming for 1.5C Inquiry.
